There is free parking right outside the door to the ruins, the trail is very scenic but other than the main road it is still overgrown and overgrown. Above all, I recommend staying at high altitude, visiting the ruins without going down to the river which, by the way, is completely dry to date.

Noto antica or Netum, is the ancient town of Noto destroyed following the earthquake of 11 January 1693. Municipium under Roman rule, head of the valley from Arab domination onwards and adorned with the title of Civitas ingeniosa by Ferdinand the Catholic, it was home of many prominent elements between the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries, as well as one of the main cultural, military and economic centers of south-eastern Sicily. Surrounded by imposing walls (many of which are still standing) and by deep valleys of Mount Alveria, it was never taken by force. Only nature did it!! I recommend going into the only way to go and back that leads to the church at the end of the city. The view to the sea is worth it!!
