Beautiful scenery with caves in the rock faces. Unfortunately, the trail is not continuously accessible, so you have to ride out of the valley every now and then.

Nice place to spend a few hours in nature. In summer the river is obviously dry so I recommend in other cooler seasons

Coming down from Cava dei Servi you will find yourself at a crossroads: right for the picnic tables and left towards the river. From this last side you will arrive at some stairs that will take you to the place visible in the photo

I found the stream in bad condition: little water, turbid and stagnant. Impossible to bathe. All this is acceptable considering the period of severe drought (September 2024). The entire equipped area around is very well cared for: there are public toilets and a very good spring. To be revisited in a period richer in water.

Very nice, shady forest path to the Cava dei Servi. Very easy to walk and almost no incline, sneakers are sufficient. Parking is a bit difficult on this side. Parking is easier at the northern entrance coming from San Giacomo.

There is no real path. You walk through the rubble in the riverbed. Good coordination and sturdy shoes are an advantage.
