Chiuro is a fairly small town but it is pleasant to pass through if you take the Panoramica on the Rhaetian side or if you go towards Teglio. It has a nice little square with a bar, fountain, benches and a charging point for bikes/phones also equipped to inflate the bike and do some repairs.

Ponte in Valtellina is a beautiful town on the Rhaetian side, just above Chiuro. Very characteristic, its streets are very narrow and cobbled (be careful not to go fast if you choose to cross it). The view of the valley floor and the Orobie Alps is beautiful, the panoramic road passes immediately above it.

Beautiful suspension bridge over the Mallero river, very high and panoramic both over Sondrio and the entrance to Val Malenco and its gorge carved out by the water. The passage is very wide and safe, and connects Ponchiera and Mossini without passing through Sondrio. It is worth stopping by if you are going towards Val Malenco or if you want to take a panoramic tour above Sondrio.

The Teglio tower is the last remaining part of a medieval castle. It is surrounded by the church of Santo Stefano, a beautiful park and is located a very short distance from the center of Teglio, where you can taste the famous pizzoccheri from the Accademia del Pizzocchero. It is located in a very panoramic position overlooking the valley and the Somasassa lake, as well as the Orobie Alps.
