Insigne Collegiata dei Santi Gervasio e Protasio - The college is dedicated to the patron saints of the city, Gervasio and Protasio.
It was built between the eleventh and twelfth centuries and was inserted into the surrounding walls in the fourteenth century; The square on which it stands was named "Campello" because there was a cemetery nearby.
Over the centuries it has been expanded and renovated several times and in fact has different architectural styles: the facade is classicist while the single barrel vault is typically baroque. On the facade you can see Ionic columns in the lower part and a semicircular window, a triangular tympanum and a lunette with a badly damaged fresco in the upper part. The mighty and high bell tower has nine bells. Upon entering, you can admire six chapels on the side walls, numerous valuable frescoes and paintings as well as a baptismal font from the 16th century. It is worth visiting this church, which is the most important in the city.
