Chiusa Sclafani, located in Sicily between Palermo and Agrigento, is a beautiful town immersed in the Sicani Mountains Park.

On the occasion of the European Parks Day, the educational area was inaugurated at the Case Pomo Visitor Center in the Monte Genuardo reserve. The center is equipped with explanatory panels and educational materials and offers an immersion in the history and nature of the area.

Bisacquino is located in Sicily, near Palermo. It is famous for its history and for being the birthplace of director Frank Capra. It has a beautiful Cathedral of San Giovanni Battista.

The abbey of Santa Maria del Bosco di Calatamauro is located near Contessa Entellina, immersed in the Monte Genuardo nature reserve. Founded in the 13th century by hermit friars, it has seen changes in religious orders and restorations over time. Known for its rich architecture and history, it represents a spiritual and cultural point of reference in the Palermo region.

The Sosio River, the initial stretch of the Verdura River, flows in central-southern Sicily, crossing several municipalities. Its valley, rich in natural reserves and archaeological remains, is one of the least contaminated in Sicily.
