마로스티카의 중심부에 위치한 피아차 델리 스카키는 베네토 지역에서 가장 매혹적인 풍경 중 하나입니다. 피아차 카스텔로라고도 알려진 이 광장은 흰색과 분홍색 대리석으로 된 기념비적인 체스판 덕분에 유명해졌으며, 이 체스판은 포장 도로에 박혀 있고 장엄한 성벽과 하부 성으로 둘러싸여 있습니다. 이 공간은 2년마다 9월에 유명한 살아있는 체스 게임의 주인공이 되며, 광장을 야외 극장으로 바꾸는 의상을 입은 역사 재현 행사입니다. 전설에 따르면 1454년에 귀족 리오노라의 손을 잡기 위한 기사도 대결이 열렸으며, 잔인한 결투 대신 지혜로운 경쟁으로 대체되었습니다. 민속 외에도 이 광장은 상부 성까지 올라가는 성벽의 멋진 전망이 지배하는 도시 생활의 중심지입니다.

Among the Bassano hills, the Silàn stream rises in the hamlet of Valrovina and descends along the valley of the same name, forming here a spectacular and unexpected waterfall with jutting out and natural pools of crystalline water. The waterfall ends in an enchanting clearing, in the middle of a lush forest with impressive centuries-old chestnut trees, with enormous and twisted trunks. 'Silàn' is a Cimbrian toponym that means 'place where water flows'.

The Ponte Vecchio is the symbol of the city of Bassano del Grappa, but at the same time of resilience and rebirth. Three times destroyed and three times rebuilt, the Ponte Vecchio has retained its architecture for almost 500 years. Entirely covered in wood, with the pillars sinking into the Brenta river, it is also known by the name of Ponte degli Alpini. Considered as one of the most characteristic bridges in the Veneto and Italy. The Ponte Vecchio dates back to 1567, designed by Andrea Palladio and, in 2019, it was proclaimed a national monument. Its structure is made of wood, it is 58 meters long and 11 meters high.
