The 43rd parallel of the northern hemisphere is an imaginary line on the Earth's surface that crosses the Municipality of Grottammare along its path. At the exact point where it runs, along the cycle path that connects Grottammare to Cupra Marittima, the Dream Point 43rd parallel was inaugurated on May 5, 2012, consisting of a sculptural group of Ascoli travertine and white Abruzzo stone, created by the master Francesco Santori. Attention, from via S. Aureliano it is not possible to access strada Comunale Mezzina because there is a barrier closed with a padlock

It's a nice climb to get there but the place is worth it for a bit of relaxation and some photos of the still life and the view!

Panoramic point on the cycle path, to take beautiful photos at dawn! Worth it! Also nearby you will find a fantastic windsurfing instructor!

The upper part is certainly worth visiting, the castle is located in a dominant position on the coast however, in my opinion, a more careful renovation work would be appropriate to enhance the village more

Between Civitanova and San Benedetto del Tronto we find many cycle paths, from the "elegant" ones of San Benedetto and Grottammare to the less frequented ones of Marina di Altidona, to the cycle-pedestrian ones of Porto San Elpidio and Civitanova... It's still a nice ride, often close to the beach...
