Among the Framamorta lakes, it is the lowest, at 2359 metres above sea level, and can be reached from Gias delle Mosche, via a long path that climbs with numerous hairpin bends.

The median lake of Fremamorta is truly enchanting, located at 2,380 meters above sea level and surrounded by rocks, under the majestic Southern Bresses Head, which reaches an altitude of 2,820 metres. This lake is located in a basin and, as the name suggests, is located between the Soprano lake and the Sottono lake of Fremamorta. There is also a wonderful view of the valley below.

The Fremamorta lake below, located under the Testa nord di Bresses, is a beautiful water basin accessible from the Gias delle Mosche, from Pian della Casa or from Valasco. From here starts a mule track very suitable for running that leads to the other lakes of Fremamorta.

The Baus (3072 m above sea level) is located in the upper Gesso valley and is part of the Monte Argentera massif. The normal route is a mountaineering type itinerary, with difficulty rated in F. After reaching the lake of Nasta, go around it and go up to the Colatta della Culatta from where you reach the top over small rocks. The passages are grade 1. It's not well marked so be very careful!
