Lake of glacial origin, 15 minutes from the ref. Coldai, an excellent place to have a picnic to rest and resume the journey towards the eventual Rifugio Tissi of a further 2h, where I recommend the high path on the scree because it is less tiring. (CAI path 560 variant of the Altavia)

The lake is worth visiting, it is located about 15 minutes from the ref. Coldai, deserves to make an extra effort to visit it. I recommend going past it, so as to see beyond the natural basin that forms the lake and see the valley.

Small mirror of water of glacial origin in which the Pale di San Lucano is reflected in all their beauty. Its waters come from underground springs and constitute the ideal environment for some aquatic animals including the Brown Trout, the undisputed queen of the environment, the rarer Arctic char and the Temporary Frog. A walk has been created all around and in the picnic area benches and tables invite you to rest. It connects to the forest road on the orographic right of the valley via a zigzag path (the penstock above which the first part of the path develops is evident).
