Vedana Lake is a small stretch of water of glacial origin located in the municipality of Sospirolo, in the province of Belluno. Located immediately south of the Monti del Sole chain, it does not have tributaries and emissaries, thus constituting an endorheic basin. The lake lies in an area of great naturalistic interest, at the gates of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park; it occupies a small depression caused by an ancient riverbed of the Cordevole river, within an area called Masiere, a large expanse of large boulders and debris now largely covered by pioneer vegetation. The lake is fed by underground water veins, along the direction of an ancient abandoned valley of the Cordevole torrent.

Lake Mis (Lach del Mìs) is a suggestive body of water located between the municipalities of Gosaldo and Sospirolo, in the Belluno Dolomites National Park, between the Monte del Sole and the Feltrine peaks.
