The former route of the Pforzheim–Ittersbach narrow-gauge railway is now well developed for bicycle traffic from the southern portal of the Westtangente tunnel above Wildbader Straße to Birkenfeld.

The four of us had an absolutely fantastic meal there. Both the fish and meat dishes were cooked to perfection. The starters and desserts were also very tasty. All Demeter-certified. It's not exactly cheap, but it was incredibly good.

Great for driving on the new surface!
