The elegant lines of the villa stood out against the sky, motionless, while everything around seemed to move: the grass bent by the wind, the shadows lengthening on the ground, the silence broken only by distant footsteps and the rustling of the air...

Avoid the path in the days right after a storm, since the lower portions are sumberged o extremely muddy.

A charming "workers' village," a product of the industrial revolution between the late 19th and early 20th centuries: a long, low building housing about twenty identical terraced houses on each side, intended to house the families of workers from the nearby historic jute factory. Beginning in the late 19th century, Piazzola sul Brenta underwent a profound social and urban transformation, spearheaded by the enlightened entrepreneur Paolo Camerini, who aimed to transform the town from a primarily agricultural center to an industrial hub: an "ideal city" of work in which production needs and attention to the quality of life of its citizens and workers would go hand in hand.
