The former sugar factory in Cartura bears witness to the area's former sugar industry.

The view is truly beautiful! The climb was a bit strenuous; there was no proper path anymore, just lava rocks. It was short, though, so it's absolutely doable – as long as you're wearing hiking boots! The path down on the northwest side is a bit rocky and muddy in places, but still manageable.

A really beautiful hike, enchanted paths, great view at the top. I wouldn't classify it as easy though. If it has rained a few days before, at least the ascent is muddy and slippery, and further up it is difficult to walk because it is very rocky. The descent is also steep and rocky at the beginning.

Absolute highlight, breathtaking view and extraordinary flora and fauna. Only for experienced hikers and only ascent!!!!!!

The Ceva–Spinefrasse Mountains group in the Euganean Hills, located between Battaglia Terme and Montegrotto Terme, forms an amphitheater of hills with a unique appearance. With peaks reaching 255 meters, it is a natural oasis of great botanical value, thanks to its particular geology and microclimate.

The uphill section of the path on Monte Ceva is quite challenging and not suitable for little ones.

I know the place well. It's a fragile environment. Stay on the ridge path and enjoy the wonderful blooms in May from there. Once I was lucky enough to see there, together with the flowering opuntia, a pair of majestic bearded vultures enjoying the thermals in large circles. Truly an enchanted place.
