The current church was built with a single nave in 1725 on the remains of the previous structure that collapsed for unknown reasons. In the third altar on the right side there is a statue of the Immaculate Conception, attributed to Anton Maria Maragliano, in the fourth altar on the left a Byzantine crucifix and a canvas depicting the Madonna delle Grazie. The work Ultima cena, preserved in the sacristy, is by the local painter Luca Cambiaso. In the façade, in Baroque style, two links of the Pisan port chain are visible on the right side; according to historical sources, these objects were stolen, as a sort of "war trophy", by Trancheo Stanco from Moneglia in 1284 during the battle of Meloria between the Genoese and Pisan fleets, which saw the former victorious.

Deiva Marina is a municipality in the province of La Spezia. The town can be divided into an older center that develops around the square in front of the church of Sant'Antonio Abate and a more recent area overlooking the sea. This town is surrounded by hills, the highest is Mount San Nicolao (847 meters above sea level).

Deiva Marina is characterized by a coastline of about one kilometer between a natural cliff in the direction of Framura and an artificial one in the direction of Moneglia. About five hundred meters from the coast between 24 and 40 meters deep is the wreck of the tugboat Vittoria, sunk during the Second World War.

The trail is tight and with alot of lose rock's but I found it easy and fun . It can be hard if your not a very experient rider. Best if u have an full susp. bicycle and min. 130 cm Fork. I done it with a hard tail 100mm susp.
