In the municipality of Sori, in the province of Genoa, this Catholic church was built in the 13th century. It is dedicated to Apollinare di Ravenna, a Roman bishop venerated as a saint. The bell tower was rebuilt in 1885, after a lightning strike knocked down the previous one.

It can be reached by following the entire Anita Garibaldi promenade in the direction of Bogliasco or along the road that from Nervi goes towards Bogliasco between the parks and the houses, stopping at the height of the ancient station of Sant'Ilario already mentioned by Fabrizio de Andre' in Marinella's song (and Marinella is called the Anita Walk Garibaldi by the locals) It is a fantastic beach with crystal clear water of small dimensions, for those who spend the summer, a break and a swim are essential.
