There's another short climb in the village. But even there, it's a maximum of 8%, I think. I also find the 10% sign a bit odd. But still a pretty short climb. ☝️ It's enough to get your heart rate up for a bit 😅

This route is also suitable for gravel riding; we recommend descending from Fior di Loto instead of Via Girasoli. This route begins at the end of Via Fior di Loto and leads to the small pier and beach. You can then continue on the road to Le Maree and take another similar, slightly more challenging gravel route that leads to Via Mormore. These two excellent routes are a great way to diversify the Via Girasoli stretch while walking just steps from the sea. 💪💯

The Sanctuary of the Madonna della Camera located in the village of Mennano, about 2 km from the town, towards Lizzano, is the destination of numerous pilgrimages from various centers in the province. Inside is kept the icon of the Madonna and frescoes dating back to the Middle Ages.

However, I don't know where you got the photo of the sign indicating 10%. The maximum gradient is at the hairpin bend and is 6%.
