This Templar chapel is somewhat hidden on a working farm. If you want to discover and "experience" it, simply walk past the cows into the yard, and you'll soon see the entrance gate. Another world immediately opens up; it's always a pleasure! Here, you can "feel" the acoustics; the canon "Dona nobis pacem" is perfect for this, as are many other hymns. This gem can also be incorporated into a hike; if you combine both "Wonsheimer Walderleniswege," for example, you'll inevitably walk along the edge of the forest and can take this small, very special detour. From February to October, the chapel is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is closed from November to January. More information: www.kulturerbe-rheinhessen-hunsrück.de

The Seckerborn spring (also called "Brünnelschen") is located on the hilltop of Kahlenberg, northwest of Wendelsheim. Particularly beautiful agate almonds were discovered here during vineyard clearing. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the trulli, Riedertal, and the Eckelsheim surf cliff.
