Offida is a beautiful village, listed among “the most beautiful villages in Italy”, located on the hills of the Ascoli territory. The characteristic Piazza del Popolo, the Teatro dell’Arancio, the cobbled streets make the place unique. Famous for its wines and other typical products such as the Tombolo processing.

Piazza del Popolo is the splendid square of Offida, with a particular triangular shape. We can admire the Town Hall, the Serpente Aureo theatre, the Collegiate church.

Built in 1330 on a pre-existing Lombard castle, inside you can admire the beautiful frescoes by the Master of Offida from the 14th century. Entrance is paid.

Beautiful village, full of suggestive views

The Monte dell'Ascensione is a relief of the Marche sub-Apennine at an altitude of 1100 meters. It is surrounded by spectacular gullies, which form part of the protected area of the Parco dei Calanchi e Monte Ascensione, and its name derives from a church there to be found on the summit founded in the 14th century by Meco del Sacco, a hermit and preacher.

Montalto delle Marche rises in the hilly area that goes from the Adriatic coast to the Sibillini chain. Inside the village it is possible to find numerous medieval architectural features, such as the walls and doors that still surround the town.
