The Yellow Bridge (Ponte Giallo) in Bolzano spans the Talvera River and is now an important connection for pedestrians and cyclists. Originally built as a railway bridge for the Bolzano–Merano railway, it was converted for public transport after the line was closed in the 1960s. It owes its name to its striking yellow color, making it a prominent landmark of the city. In 2024, the bridge underwent extensive renovations: the metal structure was sandblasted and repainted, a new reinforced concrete slab was installed, and the parapet was raised to a height of 1.20 meters. With its striking color and historical significance, the Yellow Bridge is now a defining feature of the Talvera promenade and a popular crossing for pedestrians and cyclists.

Ideal connection between Bolzano and Soprabolzano, free with the Rittencard. Travel time approximately 12 minutes.

Great scenery, definitely worth a visit.

Around the 2,163-meter Speikegg peak, between Villandro and Sarentino, this dirt path is wide and, although quite steep, is easily passable even for those with little off-road experience. A gravel bike here is more than sufficient to tackle the well-maintained dirt road.

From here you can enjoy an excellent view of the Corno del Renon.
