The Puflatsch is great for “hiking in” to the Alpe di Siusi. From Compatsch it is only 350 m uphill and back down again. Even if there are a lot of hikers, the paths are wide enough. And the panorama of the Dolomites is simply a dream.

The 2,176 m high Puflatsch mountain is part of the Seiser Alm and is one of its most beautiful viewpoints. The Puflatsch, more of a mountain range, is an excellent hike and offers breathtaking views of the nearby and more distant mountains along the entire route. In the north you can see the Sarntal Alps, in the south the Santner and Euringerspitze and the Schlern, in the east the Marmolada and the Sellastock and in the west the Ortler.

Very nice place to stop. In addition to delicious South Tyrolean dishes and cool drinks, you can enjoy a wonderful view from the sun terrace when the weather is clear.

Nice alpine restaurant which invites you to linger with the large terrace. The food and drink menu is large and the food is excellent. With a bit of luck, the music will play. Ideal as a stop approx. in the middle of the circular route from the Völser Weiher car park to the Tuffalm and straight down again.

The Latzfonser Kreuz refuge is located at 2,305 m and offers an ideal starting point for numerous hikes.
