Predazzo, located in the heart of Val di Fiemme, is a lively Trentino town with a unique geological history, nicknamed the "Gateway to the Dolomites" and the "Treasure of Geology". Characterized by a vast area and a landscape that varies from 1000 to 2800 meters, Predazzo offers a rich tourist offer both in winter, thanks to its ski areas and the proximity of Marcialonga, and in summer. An important economic and craft center, it also boasts the prestigious Scuola Alpina della Guardia di Finanza, the oldest in the world, and a renowned ski jump, the venue for international competitions and the 2026 Winter Olympics.

The Cavalese waterfall is fed by the Rio Val Moena, which rises in the beautiful mountain valley of the same name. It is interesting to watch how its water falls over the edge of the rocks about 20m into the depths. It looks as if it is pointing an index finger towards the sky. If you watch it from the bridge, at the outlet, you are impressed by the unbridled power of nature and feel the fine spray on your face. Several short and longer (circular) paths lead around the waterfall.
