Baschi is a quaint village in the province of Terni. The historic center still retains its ancient medieval charm, with vaulted ceilings and narrow alleys so small they're called "holes" by locals. Outside the medieval area lies the more modern part of town, where shops and accommodations can be found.

Starting point for the Silent Villages Trail! A beautiful route both on foot and by bike.

For those who want to take a break, the beach is easily accessible by bike from several points.

The peak of Monte Peglia is over 800 meters high and is located in the municipality of San Venanzo. The roads to access it are all quite challenging, but all in all rideable, from any side the climb is generally long (even over 15 km). The peak is easily recognizable by the presence of the RAI antenna. The Monte Peglia nature reserve, in addition to the presence of fauna and flora, is also characterized by the presence of prehistoric fossil deposits and by the three volcanoes, now extinct, near the town of San Venanzo. The Forello gorges, formed by the Tiber river that crosses the Monte Peglia and Croce di Serra ridge, are located between Todi and Orvieto, not far from Civitella del Lago, municipality of Baschi. Must see!
