Starting point for hikes in the nature park, which is worth a hike. However, you should buy a ticket at the visitor center before you start. It costs €10 per person. The nice thing is that the bus from the Marina di Alberese back to town is included in the price. We recommend, for example, the hike via the A1 to the lonely ruins of San Rabano. Good walkable paths up to here. Then at the top of the cliff, continue on A1 to Oliveto Colleglungo (large olive grove). This trail is quite battered (washing out) and unfortunately you don't see much as the vegetation doesn't allow a view. Only at two vantage points can you see what you are missing. We continue to Torre di Collelungo. From here you have a fantastic view in all directions. The descent to the west via the A5 is again a disaster, but only 50 meters in altitude. After a short stretch on the beach (possibly take your bathing suit with you) it is easy to walk the last 3 km to Marina Alberese. There is ice cream and coffee here. The bus back runs every 30 minutes. Duration: around 4 hours, distance: 13.5 km, difference in altitude: 350 m

This splendid road develops between Scansano and Magliano in Toscana and passes through Pereta, a hamlet of Magliano, where the view is wonderful.
