La Balena Bianca는 바니 산 필리포의 무료 온천 중 가장 인상적인 석회암 지형입니다. 이곳은 조금 더 위쪽에서 48°C로 솟아나는 온천수가 쌓여 만들어진 하얀 석회암의 기념비적인 폭포입니다. 이곳은 정말 매력적이지만, 몇 가지 아쉬운 점도 있어서, 공정성을 위해 놀라지 않도록 그리고 무엇을 예상해야 하는지 알 수 있도록 말씀드리고 싶습니다: 첫 번째는 확실히 접근성입니다. 이 자연의 경이로움에 도달하는 길은 매우 진흙탕이며, 제대로 된 길이 없습니다. 최근에 비가 왔다면 진흙 속을 걸어야 할 것입니다. 따라서 오시려면 진흙을 만날 가능성이 높으니, 그때 신을 수 있는 높고 방수가 되는 부츠를 가져오시는 것을 추천합니다. 두 번째로 아쉬운 점은 사람들의 무관심입니다. 이 지역 전체에는 규제나 통제가 없으며 군중에게 맡겨져 있기 때문에, 주말이나 공휴일에는 어떤 상황이 벌어질지 상상할 수 있을 것입니다. 만약 이곳에서 수영을 하고 싶다면, 주말이 아닌 평일 이른 아침이나 늦은 저녁에 오는 것을 추천합니다.

Spectacular route through a beech forest

The origin of the term "Macinaie" has no certain scientific explanation. In 2012, however, dozens of millstones made of trachytic stone, probably dating back to the Middle Ages, were found in the highest part of the mountain, about three kilometers from the town; with a diameter of about 70/80 centimeters. They were perhaps used to grind wheat, cereals and dried chestnuts. The area, therefore, could have been a rudimentary millstone laboratory, made with peperino stone from Amiata. The discovery would provide an explanation for the birth of the toponym "Macinaie", as a place where millstones were built.

At present (March 2025) there is no water flowing here.

Starting and finishing point where you can take the chairlift to reach the summit and the trail area, we also find bars, restaurants and snack bars.

Located in the enchanting Val d'Orcia in Tuscany, Radicofani is a historic and picturesque village steeped in history and culture. Situated on a hill with an average altitude of 814 metres, the village offers breathtaking views of the distinctive Tuscan landscape of the Val d'Orcia and the Via Francigena pilgrimage route. Radicofani Castle, Rocca di Radicofani, which has existed since 973AD, dominates the landscape and is an important historical landmark. The village is also home to beautiful churches such as the Romanesque San Pietro Church and the Church of Sant'Agata, which are rich in works of art.
