The 2.5 hectare area is home to around 150 trees to remember loved ones and to celebrate the environment and nature. These natural monuments to memory have been installed in the park of the Abbadia di Fiastra.

Excellent walk, I took the wrong path and took a slightly more impervious one, but not bad, if you have a pair of sticks and slightly more technical trekking shoes with you, from the ones I used it is a pleasure to do it.

Fiastra Abbey is a place where you can still breathe the spiritual atmosphere of the Cistercian monks who founded it. It was founded in 1142, and was abandoned by the monks in 2018.

The Santa Maria di Chiaravalle di Fiastra abbey is a treasure of Cistercian architecture, with an imposing brick cloister and 15th-century frescoes of great value.
