Easy summit, nice view

As of April ‘24, the sanctuary is being reconstructed (damage from the 2016 earthquakes). It’s still a great place to rest, but there’s no water available

Passo della Madonnella on Pian della Croce, with a picnic area equipped with tables and a fresh water fountain. There is also a small chapel dedicated to the Madonna, and the view of Monte Bove is breathtaking.

Monte Torrone is a mountain of the Sibillini Mountains 1,344 meters high, located in the territory of Ussita. Path 303 passes here, which connects Visso and Frontignano. It is about 5 km long, near Visso you walk in the woods on a path that is sometimes not very visible, while on the Frontignano side the beautiful dirt road offers a spectacular view of Monte Bove.

Poggio Valcagora, located under Mount Cardosa, is a destination for hikers who want to enjoy the panorama and nature of the Sibillini Mountains National Park, among woods, meadows and flowers. It can be reached from various paths, including one that starts from Visso and passes through the Visso Valley and Colle dell'Acquaro.

There’s a little water source. It comes out very slowly but it’s good and fresh.
