On the shores of Lake Annone, the peninsulas of Isella and Annone develop opposite each other, dividing the lake into two basins, connected by a narrow canal just a few metres wide.

Segrino Lake (CO) start of the park/cycle path It is a small pre-Alpine lake in Lombardy located between the municipalities of Canzo, Longone al Segrino and Eupilio. Narrow and elongated in shape, it rises in the valley delimited by Monte Cornizzolo and Monte Scioscia in the Larian triangle. Lake Segrino is considered the cleanest lake in Europe by virtue of its underground sources and the absence of pollution from industry or excessive tourist exploitation. The vegetation is characterized by water lilies, reeds, black alders, willows and poplars and there are over 100 species of birds including the mallard, the gray heron, the kingfisher, the green woodpecker.
