This is not the Taleggio Valley ravine. This is the Bracca ravine that leads from Ambria, a hamlet of Zogno, towards the Serina Valley. The Taleggio Valley ravine starts from San Giovanni Bianco and leads to the Taleggio Valley.

A small valley enclosed in the heart of the Orobic pre-Alps on the right bank of the Brembo river at an altitude of 800m, it is characterized by a landscape full of meadows, woods, waters, designed by a millenary agricultural, dairy and forestry activity, and by a climate that mostly mild even in winter. Splendid mountains separate it from Val Brembana, Val Stabina, Valtorta, Valle Brembilla, Valle Imagna, Valsassina, with which it borders.

Visited in winter, it offers beautiful views of the Imagna Valley as well as the Lecco and Valtellina mountains. Rich in wild fauna and flora that inhabit the woods and meadows, in the summer it is filled with grazing animals. In the snow it offers excellent routes for snowshoeing, while in the summer it offers peaceful walks. There is no shortage of peaks to climb and of course the fantastic gorges that can be seen directly from the road that climbs from San Giovanni Bianco. It goes without saying that the cheese here is good!

The Bracca ravine, where the homonymous source is located, is a beautiful natural canyon, a short distance from Zogno. In summer it is the coolest climb to reach Selvino. In winter the lower part is in the shade, so it is better to avoid going down this route from Selvino, on a racing bike to avoid slips. Beautiful landscape

San Giovanni Bianco can also be reached from Zogno with the beautiful cycle path of the Brembana Valley, once in Olda continue towards Vedeseta, Peghera and, through Val Brembilla, return to Zogno completing the loop, a route that truly deserves.
