Charming mountain hut in the Maderanertal at 2032 m altitude.

Similar to a grotto. The entire ambiance is filled with great attention to detail! I had an iced coffee and a very refreshing Legni drink, which were delicious. We'll be back and try the other local dishes as well.

The Windgällenhütte, located at 2,032 m in the picturesque Maderanertal, offers 60 beds in nine bright rooms, each with 4-15 beds equipped with Nordic blankets and pillows. The facility is open from the beginning of June to mid-October, while in the winter period there is a winter room with 8 beds, accessible by telephone reservation. Extremely beautiful view, remote, sometimes no cell reception, perfect for relaxing, but why a place of power? ;)

The little restaurant is located below the lake. (Coming from the lake) Past the mass camp, between the buildings and a little downhill. We only found it by chance.
