I did this hike in early May 2024, just a few days after the ski season was over and the slopes had closed. The valley was completely deserted and it felt magical! The peaks were still covered in snow, but the first signs of spring were beckoning. On the final stretch to Lac d'Arpitetta, I was wading through snow up to my knees. Without proper gear I couldn’t get any farther than the small lake. The view on that crystal-clear spring day was absolutely fantastic! Check the picture I uploaded with all the peak names added.

A great hike along the large Bisse, with a constant great view of the Rhone Valley. All dangerous spots are secured. However, you shouldn't be afraid of heights.

Magnificent views on this hike. You can do the loop in both directions, the difficulty is there.

The bridge was destroyed in the flood in June 2024. A wooden bridge was built a little way upstream. That means about a half hour detour, but you can cross the river dry-footed and the area is just great, so the few extra steps don't matter.

Beautiful circular route. We walked with a dog. We started on the right side of the dam wall. This is the unpaved and uneven part. In the back section there is a waterfall and a suspension bridge. The second section is easier to walk, so we found that we started on the right side. However, the route is not possible with a stroller or bicycle, you have to start to the left of the dam wall and can walk approximately as far as the suspension bridge.

Good restaurant, you can sit outside and inside, there are hot and cold food and drinks. Perfect for a little break.

Here you will cross the Navizence mountain river again. The flow can be quite strong so be careful (especially in spring). The rocks by the river are very pretty and the water is cold. Suitable for drinking with additional filtering (tablets or Lifestraw).

From here you have a fantastic view of the pristine Tièche valley. The valley is a small natural paradise with waterfalls, larch forests and preserved mountain pastures. Further down, the Tiéche flows into the Raspille, which also marks the linguistic border of the canton of Valais. Water from the Tièche is also transported to the vineyards around Crans-Montana via the old Suone de Tsittoret irrigation canal.
