One of the refuges where I've eaten the best, the food is truly excellent. If you're passing through, I highly recommend stopping for a bite to eat. It's in a great location beneath Monte Rosa; you can see the Margherita hut through a telescope, and they also have tent sites for sleeping.

The Rifugio G.B. Ferraro, in the heart of the Walser village of Resy, is a warm and familiar refuge where every guest immediately feels at home. Renovated in 1992, it offers 20–24 beds in shared rooms for six and double rooms, with modern bathrooms in the adjacent stadel. Easy access via a trail (trail signpost no. 6 or "W"), about 1 hour from Chemonal (1,407 m) through larch forests and pastures, also ideal for families. Perfect as a stopover on the AV1 (between Gressoney and Vieux Crest) or as a base for hikes to Testa Grigia (3,315 m).
