The castle built on a 13th century fortification - is accessed via a steep climb starting from the small square where the ancient municipal building with loggia stood. Enfeoffed to the Doria family between the 14th and 16th centuries, the castle saw the succession of many families: Da Passano, Pallavicino, Serra, Spinola and Orsini Pio di Savoia. The guise in which it appears today dates back to the 18th century, when it was adapted by the Serra family into an elegant country residence. The Lavagnina lakes are two artificial lakes in the Ligurian Apennines in the province of Alessandria and concern the municipalities of Casaleggio Boiro, Mornese and Bosio. The lakes are called one Upper Lake and the other Lower Lake. Unfortunately today 05/26/24 the lakes are completely without water

The Museum of the Champions is dedicated to two legends of Italian sport, Costante Girardengo and Fausto Coppi. Both lived most of their lives in Novi (Girardengo was also born there, in 1893) and have always been very much in love with their homelands. Although it is a nickname that became famous thanks to Coppi between the 1940s and 1950s, the first "Campionissimo" of Italian sport was Girardengo, winner of two Tours of Italy, six Milan-San Remo and three Tours of Lombardy.
