Flowering occurs in the period of April / May

As an excursion I have continued several times to Cima Mucrone, passing by "Limbo", while when there is snow and it is good, ski-skins and climb up to here or to the ridge a little higher. From here I have also started several times with the paraglider. Panoramic and beautiful point that lends itself to many experiences, not forgetting a thought to the blessed Frassati

For the foliage, go in November and early December... a guaranteed spectacle.

Mountain pasture at the end of the dirt road with cheese shop in the summer. From here the paths to Col Giassit and Colle della Lace start

It is located on the border between Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta, so it can be reached from the municipality of Settimo Vittone, or from that of Lillianes. I personally climbed from Trovinasse (Settimo Vittone) and the excursion is quite easy, but it is still preferable to do it around October when the shepherds return to the valley, especially because of the numerous electric wires that you have to cross to get to the summit cross

This beautiful lake is located at the foot of the Mont Mars Nature Reserve. From its banks Punta Leretta, Punta Figlieu, Mount Mars, Mount Rosso, the Lei Long and Gragliasca peaks and Mount Pietra Bianca are visible. It's a nice place to take a break on your mountain run with a breathtaking view. The paths in this area are mostly free of technical difficulties and easy to follow while running.
