A beautiful uphill road with little traffic. It starts immediately with a lively yet easily rideable ride, with only a few stops to rest and enjoy the magnificent scenery. Be careful on the downhill sections in winter, as they're very slippery and treacherous. In summer, however, they're slightly less exposed to the sun. Ideal times are late spring, the first days of summer, or early autumn.

Pietro Micca's birthplace

As stated on the plaque located in this place in the municipality of Sagliano Micca, the second Garibaldi Brigade was formed here. These were partisan formations involved in the Resistance. It was named after the partisan Ermanno Angiono, known as "Pensiero".
