Beautiful view from the square and charming village

The main church of the town which dates back to the mid-19th century. It is built at the highest point of the town with a beautiful small square in front which also houses the Town Hall.

Quiet road that leads out of Asti and arrives in the municipality of Portacomaro in the San Vito/Poggio area.

Moncalvo is a town of around 3,000 inhabitants, part of the municipality of Asti. At the end of October, it hosts an important truffle festival: on these days it is possible to appreciate many typical local products. In Moncalvo, Casa Lanfrancone stands out for its beauty, whose façade dates back to the 13th century and was built in Gothic style.

A section with a rather steep gradient which I usually travel downhill to pass in a short time and distance from the area around Portacomaro to that of the Poggio valley.

Important intersection that leads to various destinations. Here in the photo, on the roadside during a stop for a snack, along via Asti towards Tonco. Behind the hamlet church.
