Splendid refuge, excellently managed, the food is excellent!

The pass is somewhat unspectacular, but easy to drive along the road. It's practically a must for further access into the Dolomites.

Near the Giaf refuge (just below) you will find this beautiful little chapel dedicated to the Virgin of the Rocks.

The Giaf refuge is located at 1400 meters above sea level. It is one of the support points for entering the Friulian Dolomites park from the north.

Going up the path towards Casera Santigo, you will find a welcoming bench with a picnic table immersed in the greenery of the Dolomites.
