The resettler museum is housed in a former granary. The museum focuses on the expulsion of almost 7,000 people from 42 villages in the "Döllersheimer Ländchen" from 1938 and the construction of the military training area. The central theme is the resettlement in the area of the military training area. Seven stations are dedicated to resettlement in many different areas. For example, it shows what people's lives were like before the dramatic events. Central points are the annexation to the German Reich and, of course, the resettlement of the population. Replacement houses, advance payments and the fate of the people are also shown. The nature of the military training area or the TÜPl as a Natura 2000 area represents another chapter. Interviews, audio recordings and films illustrate the eventful history of the region. Additional virtual content such as photos, videos and texts can be brought onto the screen using QR codes that can be scanned with a mobile phone. Entry is also via QR code and is free.
