A very funny single track maintained by ASD Montiferru MTB. Recommended for all types of MTB.

There are two ways to get there. One upper and one lower path.

It is located in the municipality of Santu Lussurgiu (OR) A spectacular rocky peak of Montiferru that reaches an altitude of 970 meters. The west side is vertical, while the east side is inclined and climbable. On the summit there are the remains of a megalithic fortification, also known as Rocca 'e su Para, a toponym attributed, it seems, for the use of the fortress by Camaldolese friars as a place of prayer.

It may escape the untrained eye, but if you pay attention to the unmarked road that develops from the asphalt road you can notice how, not even 100m further down, there is a farmhouse, fire pits, a water fountain that is always active and a large table for snacks. The rest area is surrounded by holm oak and cork trees, and there are also seasonal fruit trees.

Close to the Su Cantaru Etzu fountain (located above it, near the little church) this fountain guarantees very fresh water all year round.

Alternative route to the Elighes Uttiosos spring. The section of the trail closest to the spring is steeper and more technical than the trail 300m further down, but it is much more fun to do on the way down!
