Hiking through the raised moor is prohibited! And crossing the meadows of a private owner is also prohibited! No-entry signs are posted there.

The Serleskirchl church is still under construction (2025) and is funded by donations. Souvenirs to support its completion can be purchased at the mountain station.

The new Ochsenhütte was only built in 2013 using timber-frame construction and is a popular destination in both summer and winter. In summer, the Serlesbummelbahn also stops there and folk music afternoons are also held.

The three crystal-clear lakes invite you to cool off, rest and play. For the children there is a water play area with a cone-washing system, whitewater course and raft. Relaxation loungers and benches are set up around them so that you can enjoy the impressive mountain panorama and unwind.

The most beautiful time is probably spring (May/early June), when the larch meadows of the Gleinser Mähder and Eulenwiesen are adorned with a wealth of flowers and cotton grass. At this time, you can also spot the rare round-leaved sundew at the Gleinser Hochmoor. Rustic hay barns also invite you to linger here.
