Abandoned in 1806, the Convent of Santa Maria in Costantinopoli is part of the archaeological complex of Olevano sul Tusciano. It is worth stopping to admire the view and imagine what the Convent was like before it was abandoned.

At the end of the 5th century the populations of the Sele plain took refuge on what is now Monte Castello for fear of the barbarian invasions following the weakening and subsequent collapse of the Roman Empire. The initially built fortress soon became the center of a settlement that lasted 8 centuries.

Near the bridge over the Tusciano river, there is a water fountain and the Parco San Michele picnic area, managed by the Picentini mountain community, which can also be reached by car.

The hydroelectric plant of the Tusciano River is among the first plants built in Italy between the end of the 1800s and the beginning of the 1900s. Together with eight other plants, it forms the Nucleus Tusciano for the production of electricity.
