...Once I reached the summit, I didn't feel the urge to take a picture. I just looked. The light was veiled, fragile, accompanied by a light haze that seemed to protect the landscape rather than hide it. In that moment, I realized that photography wasn't the goal, but a pretext. The SLR followed my movements almost automatically, while I tried to recognize what, inside, was responding to that place...

The charm of abandoned and dilapidated houses: what always leaves me amazed is that in a not too distant time there was fervent human activity in the middle of the woods!

Pretty medieval church that maintains its simple and original stone appearance: dating back to the 11th century and originally dedicated to San Sigismondo and from the 1600s also to San Valentino. Since 1875 it has been flanked (literally!) by the Sanctuary of Sant'Anna, a church with a more banal and anonymous appearance. Too bad: the place would have been much more evocative with the solitary hermitage in the middle of the beautiful green meadow! From Colle di San Valentino you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the foothills and the entire Vicenza area.

Suggestive wooden bridge lost in a spectacular lush, dense and wild forest, with moss and ferns that invade the gorge and surround the stream. A beautiful passage.
