Historic malga of Lessinia, the Rifugio Lausen (which in Cimbrian means "House of oxen") has been renovated respecting its ancient origins by the Guzzo family and since November 2017 it has been managed by the mountain guide Danny Zampiccoli. The Refuge, located at 1220m, is an enchanting place a few km north of Velo Veronese, where the view extends from the Po Valley to the Apennines; towards the east, beyond the Euganean hills, it is not uncommon to be able to see Venice and behind it, Monte Carega predominates with its 2,259 meters of height.
