Magical place among ruins and abandoned churches

I went out days after the rain, up there the water was still flowing along the path and the mud was wasted, but I also passed through there with the dry and compact ground, certainly a beautiful experience. To reach Onferno is not easy, you have to take the path that leads to the cemetery of Pian di Castello, up there there are cultivated lands and the path seems to vanish, but there are reference points: weather vanes, a small cell of the Madonna, a gate. If you have found everything, come down you are on the right road.

The Onferno Oriented Nature Reserve is a protected natural area located in the municipality of Gemmano, in the province of Rimini, Italy. This reserve was established in 1991 and offers a wonderful immersive nature experience.

The Conca river is a watercourse that flows in the Rimini Apennines. It originates from the eastern side of Mount Carpegna, at 1415 meters above sea level, and continues in the direction of the Adriatic Sea, covering approximately 44.5 kilometres.

From this bridge it is possible to observe the stony bed of the Conca river. The river is often dry but during flood periods the flow of water completely transforms the landscape.
