route done with departure by e-bike starting from Pozza di Fassa, feasible but you need to have experience especially on the descent, route not completely complete by bike due to a last part where the only way is to proceed on foot or with a light bike on your shoulders for 2 hours of trekking (definitely not an e-bike) and certainly only feasible for elite athletes

Beautiful loop. The descent by helicopter was also very quick, but unfortunately, very expensive. The path at the end was completely buried. So, it's better to take a different route.

The Rifugio Sandro Pertini is beautifully situated at approximately 2,300 meters on the south slope of the Sassolungo group in the Dolomites. From the hut, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Dolomites of the Fassa Valley, as well as the Catinaccio, the Letemar, the Monzoni range, and the Sella group. Even the glaciers of the Marmolada can be seen from here.

Mazzin, located at 1,372 meters above sea level, is the smallest municipality in the Val di Fassa and includes the hamlets of Campestrin and Fontanazzo. Known as the village of "pitores", it boasts Casa Battel, the only rustic-noble manor in the valley with decorative elements and frescoes of artistic value. The backdrop of the village is dominated by the imposing rock faces of the Catinaccio d'Antemonia, Cima Dodici and Col Bel.

The town of Pozza di Fassa (at 1,320 meters above sea level), part of the municipality of San Giovanni di Fassa since 2018, is dominated by Cima Undici (2,507 m), Cima Dodici (2,446 m) and the majestic Torri del Vajolet (2,812 m). Pozza is a renowned place of well-being and relaxation. In fact, one of the elements that characterizes this village is the presence of the Aloch sulfur spring, unique in Trentino.

Note for dog lovers: Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed to stay overnight at this hut. Unfortunately, this also applies to the Rifugio Dona nearby. Alternative: continue hiking to the Rifugio Micheluzzi or change your plans and go up to the Tierser Alpl hut.
