The Trudener Bach waterfall is well worth seeing! Even though the path from Neumarkt is quite steep in places, the climb is definitely worth it.

At the end of the circular route towards the info point you can see different types of rock with relevant information about them. Very interesting. Also for children.

The Bletterbach is a watercourse located in the area of the municipality of Aldine and forms the Bletterbach gorge at the foot of the 2,316 m high Corno Biano, also known as the "Grand Canyon of South Tyrol". The gorge, which was formed about 15,000 years ago in the ice age, is about eight kilometers long and 400 meters deep. It has been slowly sculpted by water erosion, making different sedimentary layers visible. In addition to the geological interest, the Bletterbach Gorge offers a unique landscape. It is impressive to walk between the steep walls of the gorge. Access is allowed only with a protective helmet and the entrance to the park is paid but it's worth it.

Beautiful waterfall. If you come from Glen you have to get down again before going up to the pulpit, among other things. So far it's the unexciting part.

The Bletterbach is a brook in the area of the Regglberg municipality of Aldein in South Tyrol. At the foot of the 2317 m high Weißhorn it forms the Bletterbach Gorge, which is also known as the “Grand Canyon of South Tyrol”. The gorge was formed about 15,000 years ago in the Ice Age, is about 8 km long and 400 m deep. It is known for the numerous fossil finds and the various rock layers of the Dolomites.

You pay your entrance fee at the Geopark of the Bletterbach Gorge. The helmet is compulsory and is included in the entrance fee. My recommendation is to take a tour. You cannot see for yourself what the volunteer guides know about this gorge.

A guided tour is not necessary because of the trails, but because of the explanations and the trained eye of the guide, who sees exactly where there are plants and animals trapped in the rock. This path takes you back in millions of years. EXCITING!!
