Ideal season in spring or autumn

If you want, you can take a short detour to the visually very attractive waterfall, which is part of the hike in the Rastenbachklamm. It's worth a visit. The large waterfall invites you to take a shower when it's very hot. But this is certainly not usual. I still think about whether I should have stood under the beautiful waterfall in the heat at the time. But you need a towel and swimwear for that. If you don't want to climb up from below or from the lake, you can save your energy and start at the Rastenbachklamm car park. This is above the Dominikus winery, St. Josef am See 39, I - 39052 Kaltern. ( dominikus.it/de/weingut ) If you visit the winery, you will find deck chairs, a great view and wines and non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy. The Dominikuskeller is one of the many highlights of the tour. The tours take place every Tuesday and Friday at 5 p.m. from Easter to the end of August. From September onwards, tours will only be available by short-term arrangement due to the grape harvest. Tour duration approx. 2 hours. The tour is only possible with advance booking and confirmation of the appointment from us. The work in the vineyards and in the cellar is very labor-intensive, so visits to the cellar outside of tour times are not possible. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We found the tour to be challenging and very beautiful.
