Villacidro 입구에 위치한 그림 같은 폭포인 Sa Spendula는 약 60미터 높이의 높은 화강암 벽 사이로 세 개의 폭포를 이루는 Coxinas 강의 마지막 구간입니다. 마을에서 쉽게 접근할 수 있으며, 특히 물의 양이 많은 가을과 봄 사이에 매우 인상적이며, 종종 근처의 Piscina Irgas 및 Muru Mannu 폭포로 가는 하이킹과 함께 방문됩니다.

With approximately 14,000 inhabitants, Villacidro is one of the main towns in the Medio Campidano region and is located at the foot of the Monte Linas massif, in a green valley surrounded by hills and streams. The town is known for its olive oil, citrus fruits, and cherries, as well as for its strong artisanal and gastronomic traditions. In the historic center, you'll find shops, bars, restaurants, and various accommodation options. Nearby, the Sa Spendula waterfall, one of the town's symbols, and the Canale Serci mine, where tin was mined as far back as the Nuragic era, are worth a visit.

The route is accessible by public transport. From Cagliari, take ARST bus line 211 to Villacidro (starting point).

Between rocks and fragrant maquis, spurge (Euphorbia) sprouts – with its bright green, almost surreal flowers, a typical sight in Sardinian spring. This undemanding plant thrives where drought, wind, and sun reign. It secretes a white milky sap that was once used for healing – or poisoning.

A few kilometers from the town of Villacidro, on the right of the Rio Leni, extends the suggestive park of San Sisinnio, home to the country church of the same name from which it takes its name.

Even in mid-June 2024, it's only a trickle. But it's still a pretty place.

A really nice little place where Murali (wall paintings) play a big role. The houses are lovingly decorated with flowers and other accessories. Otherwise the place offers nothing. So if you don't like wall paintings, you don't need to make a detour here
