This settlement is called "Feurras" because of the abundance of ferula plants (in Sardinian, "Feurra") growing in this area. In autumn, everything here is dry, but in spring, the Pauli are full of water. In some places, the flowers are blooming beautifully, and with luck, you might spot small wild horses.

The horses are totally relaxed and continue to graze even when you walk past. Of course, you should keep an appropriate distance from the animals.

We were there in May and everything was blooming and the smell was amazing 🤩
