The Palace dates back to a period before the earthquake of 1693, when most of the city's buildings were destroyed. The palace belonged to the Crescimanno counts and over the centuries it hosted illustrious personalities such as Ferdinand II of Bourbon and other nobles who visited Caltagirone.

At the foot of the castle there is the ruin of the Savior church, a stable and two silos. Minimal internet connection.

Borgo Pietro Lupo, the only hamlet of Mineo, was built in 1941 on the initiative of the fascist government, dedicated to the soldier Pietro Lupo. Although conceived as a civic centre, today the village is mostly abandoned, with many uninhabited houses. Nearby, there is the Mongialino Castle.

A visit to the Ceramics Museum is a must in whose rooms objects ranging from the 4th century BC are exhibited. C. until the eighteenth century; if you feel like buying some local ceramic object you will have no problem finding the right object for you by visiting the numerous artisan shops in the historic centre. Vases, plates and original creations made with local clay and with the genius of the Caltagirone artisans
