From the outside, it's a beautiful refuge. We couldn't see the inside because it was closed. It's easily accessible by parking in Case di Civago.

개조된 개인실과 매우 맛있는 음식을 제공하는 산장입니다. 이 지역의 다양한 하이킹을 위한 훌륭한 출발점이며, 경영진은 매우 친절합니다. 주차장(유료)에서 산장까지는 도보로 약 10분 정도 오르막길입니다. 관리인인 마시모는 훌륭한 사람이며, 항상 그들에게 돌아가는 것은 즐거운 일입니다!

The Shepherds' Festival at Lame di Capraia, in the municipality of Pieve Fosciana, is an event held annually on the last Sunday of July. The festival celebrates the area's pastoral traditions, with traditional dishes, music, and activities for adults and children. The festival recalls the times when shepherds, during the transhumance, gathered here to celebrate the end of the mountain grazing season with mass and a shared lunch. During the festival, you can taste typical Garfagnana dishes, such as polenta incaciata, macaroni, farro, lamb, rosticciana, sausage, cheese, homemade cakes, and neccio fritters with ricotta. In addition to food, there are activities for children, music, and, in the past, even cheese-making demonstrations. In short, the Shepherds' Festival is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the ancient traditions of Garfagnana while enjoying local flavors.

Here you can get water, but only if the shepherd is present, otherwise the door is closed...so my advice is to bring a good supply of water because after that there are no other fountains except the one at the Battisti refuge!
